I missed the show by a few minutes...felt so guilty in my rush to SM nakaligis pa gyud ko'g baki who was celebrating the slight drizzle in Opon. Maayo na lang, I was able to make it to Jazz n Blues! Salamat Vic, sunod my tab na pud! It was the best weekend gratification I've ever had in so many years, seeing and hearing for the first time a real authentic Bossa Nova band. Real great musicians! the vocals were very good from both Evelyn and Miguel, no pretensions, no effort at overstyling, no frills, just straight singing out of the heart for the sheer joy of Bossa Nova! ..and who needs a keyboard player with a great back-up and Miguel's rich chords with shades of escala de flamenco. Nice blend. Obrigado!
