Fashion Headquarters, Montaigne Ave., Paris

Montaigne ave is a very beautiful ave in Paris parallel to champs elysee. It's where most of the headquarters of the fashion icons of europe is located. This is where some fashion shows are held attended by celebrities and the rich. Prices are unimaginable. I stepped in one of the shops out of curiosity and I was greeted with well dressed salespeople and I almost fainted when I saw the prices, ex; loiue vitton wallets are $700 minimum, shoes $ 2,000 min, bags $ 2,000 min. I just based it on dollars, actually the prices are in euros and that's even higher.Definitely ,only for the rich of course. Shops shown in the photos I took are only one of the

I Love Paris

Hi friends, I would like to share with you our short holiday in Paris.
We used to live here and then we relocated to Manila in 1997.Since then we always made it a point to stay for a few days in this city everytime we visited the family in France and Spain and tried to visit at least one european country that we or I never have been to. That's why when mig said we can only stay for 3 days...:( we did our best to enjoy our stay even if we have seen the museums, eiffel tower, trocadero, seine river, notre dame, montmart, champs ellysee, concorde square, arc de triomphe, latin quarter,la opera, moulin rouge, versailles palace, monet's house and garden many times before. We always felt like a tourist walking non stop and taking the metro to see as much places as we can and take lots of photos although I learned my lesson that I should always carry extra batteries and memory card for my cameras, cause I ended up taking more videos. Nevertheless it was

San Sebastian, Spain

Hi friends, I would like to share with you our wonderful holiday in San Sebastian. This is my third time in this city and and it always feels good to visit the family which is the main reason why we go there almost every year.We always enjoy our holidays because San sebastian is a very beautiful and romantic city. Some say it's the little paris of spain. The basque people are proud of their cuisine, that's why you will never find any restaurant offering other international cuisine in this city. The culture is so rich as most european cities. They have their annual summer music festival in july and aug featuring famous international artists which we will miss this year. We went to some museums, sampled different tapas, wine and cheese, visited other cities like Olite where the beautiful Olite castle is. We were also fascinated to see some dinossaur fossils in Rioja mountains.Too bad we couldn't stay longer this time but it was a vacation well spent.

Aquarela @ Ayala Mall Cebu's 13th Anniversary Nov 18, 2007 by Vic Reyes

Aquarela band of Miguel and Evelyn Juteau performed at the 13th Anniversary celebration of the Ayala Center Cebu. After their SRO performance at Jazz N Bluz they performed again for the Cebuano audience and guess what, they loved their performance. Since they were performing mostly songs from their Bossa Nova Affair CD and some latin songs, the middle aged group were the ones shouting for request and of course, evelyn and miguel could not refuse the requests of their no. 1 fans here in cebu, tinni and myself who requested Flor de Liz and Anos Dourados. I also personally requested "Usahay" sang in bossa nova as a repeat performance of what they did to the very popular Cebuano song. It was well applauded and people were shouting for more. The show lasted for an hour and a half and Eve was afraid that Ayala would kick them out for overstaying. Well with a performance like that, i'm definitely sure Ayala would invite them again for another awesome show. The problem with sitting...

Aquarela @ Jazz N Bluzz, Cebu City, Nov, 17, 2007 by Vic Reyes

They previously played there last Sept. 9, 2007 at the request of Ms. Yoko, the club's owner, after their CD launching at SM City Cebu. The place was jampacked with people who love bossa nova and latin music.
I was so happy to see my idols in Cebu again and they too have been hoping for a repeat performance here since last month.
This was a very busy Saturday for me since I just came from a company sponsored tree planting near mount Manunggal the whole morning, then watched The CompanY at Ayala then straight to Jazz N Bluz for Aquarela.
Before the show Eve saw me at my table and I immediately approched her and MIguel. She introduced me again to the band members, and to the little angel Blanca Camille who came to Cebu with her Dad and Mom.
After a very warm greeting and introduction of the group...

Watercolor is a tricky medium and very often frustrating if you can’t make a perfect rendering on the first few strokes. Unlike oil where you can layer as many impastos as you can, with watercolor making a mistake meant throwing away more than one Strathmore paper to the dump bin until you finally get it right. But it is always a rewarding experience because watercolor is not only a difficult medium, it is one of that offers a wide range of hues and it’s spontaneity and transparency gives it an effervescent glow that you can’t experience with other mediums.
